Electrical Workers Minority Caucus: Service & Solidarity

Ron Robinson
The National IBEW EWMC Convention in Seattle

RONALD ROBINSON INVITES ALL 332 MEMBERS TO JOIN THE ELECTRICAL WORKERS MINORITY CAUCUS

“At a politically polarizing time, the EWMC is meeting the moment to create solidarity among all electrical workers,” said Ronald Robinson, who heads 332’s chapter. “We are not only people of color, but women and white allies from all different backgrounds. Everyone is welcome! Our purpose is to create space for all members to join something bigger than ourselves, forge common ground in a very divided world, and come together in solidarity.

“The EWMC was started in 1972 with 25 IBEW members to give underrepresented electrical workers a voice. Today, we have over 800 IBEW members across the country in 51 chapters. The 332 EWMC has about 20 core members, but when we hold monthly events, our numbers swell to over 100. We focus on bettering our world through shared purpose, community service, and fun! If you’d like to join or just want more info, contact me at 408robinsonr@gmail.com.”
