As we close out 2024, there is much to be grateful for this year and to be excited about for 2025. We were able to negotiate record contracts to build upon the decades of great work that has gotten us to this point.
Our work picture and job calls have been steadily increasing over the past couple months, with several long calls going to Book 2. 2025 is looking to be busier with more T.I. projects, residential developments, large data centers, and new construction hospitals.
In 2024, we had numerous member events, including our car show, SJ Barracudas Family Night, SJ Giants Family Night, 332 sporting clays, our holiday party, and our annual picnic, where we hosted 3,300 members and their families. We will continue hosting these fun events as I feel it is vital to gather and socialize with our brothers and sisters as much as possible outside of work and meetings.
With the membership’s ongoing support, we will work hard to expand our work opportunities so that our members can continue to enjoy the pay and benefits we deserve. I want to personally thank all of you who have contributed to our local’s success and those who continue to make IBEW Local 332 so great. From my family to yours, happy holidays everyone!
Always IBEW,
Pete Seaberg, 332 President
