New 332 officers were sworn in at the July 7, 2026 membership meeting. They were voted in by 870 members who cast their ballots in the June 5th internal election. The following are statements from our new officers who will lead our union for the next three years.

Greetings Brothers & Sisters,
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to each of you. Being elected as your Business Manager is the honor of a lifetime. Thank you for placing your trust in me to lead our great local.
The future of Local 332 is a very serious matter, and I do not take this responsibility lightly. I am fully committed to working hard every day to protect our jurisdiction, improve our benefits and pensions, and strengthen our brother- and sisterhood.
Summer is finally here! I hope everyone is taking some well-deserved time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the warm weather with your families. Our work can be demanding, but our loved ones are the reason we do what we do. Please make time for those barbecues, camping trips, and family gatherings. Also make sure to attend 332’s summer events, including the annual family picnic on July 11 and the big softball tournament on July 25.
As we look at our current local economy, we are experiencing a period of tremendous growth. Work is booming across our jurisdiction. There are massive projects underway and a steady pipeline of upcoming jobs. Our skilled labor remains in high demand, proving that the quality of Local 332 hands is unmatched here in Silicon Valley.
The boom means robust opportunities and strong work hours for our members. To meet demands, we are taking in 140 new inside apprentices and employing over 1,200 traveling brothers and sisters from across the country. I encourage you to take hours while work is good. If the pandemic taught us anything, it’s to expect the unexpected.
Please look out for one another on the jobsites. Summer heat introduces extra safety hazards. Stay hydrated, take your breaks, and keep safety as your top priority. We want every single member to return home safely to your families at the end of every shift.
Finally, if you see something that needs attention, please call the hall and we’ll get a rep out ASAP. Thank you again for your support and your dedication to our local. Let’s keep moving Local 332 forward, together!

“I am deeply honored that the members have put your trust in me to be your president. Since the executive board appointed me after Javier’s passing, my priority has been making the union our second family. I will continue with that as my #1 goal.
“I believe the strength of Local 332 is tied to our unity and how we support one another. As your president, I will continue to create opportunities for members to connect with each other and our families. That means regular social events and outings, volunteering in the community, and bolstering our clubs/committees. I encourage all members to get involved. It’s not only fun and increases our community impact, but it strenghtens our union.
“In my role, I will also continue to fight for exceptional contracts, benefits, and working conditions for all members, whether you are inside, resi, S&C, or a materials handler. I will ensure members’ funds and pension trusts are handled responsibly. And finally, I will bring 332 member voices to the IBEW International Convention to ensure we are represented.
“It is an honor to serve you, and I hope to see you at union meetings, social outings, and volunteer events! Get involved!”
Jon-Paul (J-P) Wolfe

“The most important thing is educating the members on how the union machine works and letting them know what’s going on. If you feel bashful about coming to the mic at a meeting, please ask me. If I don’t have the answers, I can find them or point you in the right direction.
“I encourage all members to get involved. There’s more to being a union electrician than work. Attend a couple of union meetings a year, see what the committees are doing. You meet a lot of people, have a voice, and create greater impact.
“I’d like to expand the influence of our committees and figure out what kind of support they need – like the women’s committee, Renew, EWMC, safety, and political action. I really want to get more members involved.”

“My goal for this term is to continue being a responsible steward of our members’ money while keeping our local strong for current and future generations.

“Many members focus their full attention on how the IBEW is representing on our jobsites. However, many don’t see the work that occurs behind the scenes on their behalf.
“It is important to serve the members to the best of our ability, so the local can continue to grow and offer more opportunities to current and future members. I look forward to sharing my nine years of experience with the newly elected officers and continuing my role as recording secretary to document the local’s decisions.
“Our union functions best when more members are involved in our meetings, committees, and social events. Together we make Local 332 strong!”

“I truly appreciate the opportunity to represent my fellow brothers and sisters on the executive board and at the international convention. I will strive to ensure that our bylaws/constitution are upheld and maintain oversight of 332’s funds. I encourage members to show up and participate, not only at our monthly/allocation meetings, but at the multitude of events put on by our local and our various committees. To truly stand united, we need to know and care about our fellow brothers and sisters.”

“I want every 332 brother and sister to feel like they’ve got a voice. And if someone’s too shy or doesn’t feel comfortable speaking up, I’ll speak up for them. My goals are pretty simple: learn the job, be available to all our members, and stay transparent. I’m also going to push for better attendance at our union meetings. The more of us that show up and stay involved, the stronger we are when it comes to bargaining, and the better we’ll be at bringing up the next generation of IBEW electricians.”

The Newly Elected Examining Board Tests Potential New Members
The Examining Board’s role is to test potential new members being organized into the union. The Board verifies basic skill sets, as well as people’s experience relative to their classification. This ensures new members are up to IBEW 332’s standards of excellence. The Newly Elected Convention Delegates Will Attend the IBEW International Convention
