Certification Update

At last the State of California has outlined the procedure for renewing the various Certifications for Commercial and Residential Electricians, Voice-Data-Video Technicians, Fire/Life Safety Technicians, and Non-residential lighting Technicians. We also have copies of the renewal form available at in the Dispatch Hall to the left of the Out-Of-Work Lists in the file rack on the wall. These are available during regular Dispatch Hall buisness hours, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm.

There are classes ongoing in a variety of subjects for our Members to take to fulfill the 'further electrical education'. Go to the Santa Clara County Electrical JATC webpage for more information on the classes available.

 VDV and Fire/Life Safety Certification Information

Sound & Communications Members are eligible for a $100.00 Reimbursement upon showing a "Exam Score Report" for a passed "VDV Technician Certification" or "Fire/Life Saftey Technician".

You can only get reimbursed for one or the other, but not both !!
